Double Oak

If you’ve been longing for the open spaces of rural living, with the nearby convenience of vibrant shopping and excellent dining, Double Oak is the perfect town to call home!

City of Double Oak Website

Double Oak is located just west of Flower Mound, and bordered by FM-407 (Justin Road) to the north and FM-1171 (Cross Timbers Road) to the south.  To the east is the Highland Village Shopping area with excellent theaters, well respected retailers and very popular restaurants.  To the west…well, that’s pretty much open country!

Double Oak is defined as a General Law City and is restricted to single family residences with a minimum 1-acre lot size.  Residents govern Double Oak represented by a mayor and a town council of five members.

Double Oak is protected 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, by a full-time law enforcement team and highly experienced volunteer fire department.

The fire department is funded by the town, residents’ donations, the Double Oak Women’s Club, and their annual Fourth of July Festivities.
